Mouthwatering Food and Drink experiences in Hotels

Dublin hotels are bursting with taste through their food and drink experiences, and during the festival there are some you just can’t pass up.

You don’t have to be a guest anymore to enjoy fine dining in a city centre hotel but after these experiences, you might want to be!

  • The Westin Hotel

This centrally located hotel has 3 experiences to enjoy during the inaugural Food and Drink Festival. Cocktail o’clock is swinging in at The Mint Bar as they celebrate the DublinTown Food & Drink Festival with a selection of Mint Bar cocktail specials. On Thursday 18th October, enjoy one of The Mint Bar’s signature cocktails, the Foreign Exchange, an unusual combination of bitter & sweet flavours. On Friday 20th October, their Gin of the Day will be served with your favourite Thomas Henry tonic; and on Saturday 21st October it’s time for ‘Seriously Easy Going’, a refreshing concoction of Malibu Coconut Rum, Passoã & Lychee blended with exotic flavours. This reduced festival price relates to the daily cocktail special only when you mention the DublinTown Food & Drink Festival.

Renowned restaurant Morelands Grill hosts a tasty steak night for customers, which is available every night from 5.45pm. Enjoy one of their award-winning set steak specials with a glass of wine for just €19.95 per person.

At the Atrium Lounge you can indulge in a sparkling Afternoon Tea. Receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco when you mention the DublinTown Food & Drink Festival. Embrace that real sense of occasion with a traditional Afternoon Tea experience, while you taste delectable delights including a selection of gourmet sandwiches, freshly-baked scones and an array of delicate desserts, all of which are served with a selection of fine teas and gourmet coffee.

Festival participants are welcomed to sabrage a bottle of Laurent Perrier Champagne at The Shelbourne, as instructed by Head Sommelier Nisea Doddy or one of her team members.
