What is the DublinTown Food and Drink Festival?

The DublinTown Food and Drink Festival is a week-long event bringing a variety of experiences to the city through events, talks, workshops, demos, tastings and special menus from a number of Dublin 1 and Dublin 2 based restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels and retailers. It aims to promote the great offerings Dublin City Centre has both sides of the Liffey.

Are the events free?

Some events and experiences are free while others do have a charge dependent on the offering. Prices are set by the event organiser connected to that experience.

How can I book an event?

You can book an event online through our booking system which is powered by our partner TheTaste.ie.

Do I get an e-ticket or voucher?

If your event or experience is ticket-based you will receive a voucher from our sales partner TheTaste.ie once you book. You will be required to bring this with you on the day of the event or experience.

Who can get involved?

Members of DublinTown, Dublin’s Business Improvement District. If you are a city centre-based business that is not a member of DublinTown and want to get involved please contact our marketing team by emailing info@dublintown.ie.

Will there be vegan, gluten free, vegetarian options?

People with special dietary requirements will be catered for where possible. Participating venues do have various dietary options so if the experience does not specify please check with the venue before booking. There is also a vegan pop-up restaurant during the festival.

There are various venues taking part in the festival. Most are accessible but please check with the venue before booking if the experience does not specify.

How do I get around the festival?

Getting around Dublin Town is easy thanks to our central and well-connected public transport that includes Dublin Bus, Irish Rail, Luas, taxis, as well as cycle lanes, Dublin Bikes and car parking facilities. For more information visit our Get Around post here.

How do I sign up for the newsletter?

You can easily sign up for our newsletter if you wish to receive information from the DublinTown Food & Drink Festival. Visit the footer of our website to sign up.

Are there family events?

Yes, there are a number of family events during the festival. Tick our family friendly icon on our Experiences Page to filter this option.

The DubilnTown Food and Drink Festival 2018 is partnered with Pallas Foods and TheTaste.ie.
